PJC urges PJSAC not to move court against APPSC

ITANAGAR, Nov 29:  The Parents Joint Committee (PJC) has urged Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Action Committee (PJSAC) to not take legal courses against the interest of their families and children who have reached their respective positions through hard work and merit.

“We as parents expect PAJSC would give such assurance in writing so that our agitating minds and hearts may find respite,” the PJC said in a release.

While welcoming the PJSAC’s move to drop contentious ‘null & void’ points from its 13-point charter of demand, which hopefully would pave the way for a united voice against corruption, the PJC sought a round table meeting with the former before joining hands for a common cause.

While supporting PAJSC in pursuing complete reformation of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, PJC general secretary Ajay Matam said that the round table meeting between executive members of PAJSC and PJC would have final clarity on null & void issues before uniting for a common cause. .

Appreciating significant steps taken by the state Govt so far in resolving the APPSC fiasco, PJC also urged the GoAP to constitute new Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) soon, design a robust SOP for the APPSC by taking suggestions from all stakeholders and the aspirants to restore faith of one and all and complete the process of all pending exams besides conducting new exams for all vacant posts.

It may be recalled that the PAJSC, during a recent press conference, had indicating dropping demand for declaring the APPSC exams as null & void. But, the PAJSC had hinted about knocking the doors of the court on its demand for declaring compromised exams of the APPSC examinations as null and void.
